Drone and counter-drone operations sit on a regulatory frontier: authority is fragmented across federal, state, and local lines, the rules are new and still moving, and the consequences of guessing wrong are severe. The organizations that most need clarity — local agencies, security teams, small operators — generally have the least access to it.
That gap is where DELALLi works. Not as a research shop that produces reading material, and not as a vendor that starts with the product and works backward to the problem. As the layer in between: the people an organization can call before the decision is made, whose answers come with the citation and the date attached.
It matters beyond any one contract. If this space is not navigated well, the correction arrives as a clampdown — and that costs both public safety and the civil liberties it is supposed to protect. We would rather help get it right the first time.
